Dog Walking

We have a local park nearby so come along and enjoy a walk, or even take a dog out in a wheelchair.

Transport

Some of our dogs are rehomed out of the local area so you can help by transporting a Wolfie’s dog to its new home.

Home Checks

The role of the home checker is to visit the homes of potential animal adopters to ensure their suitability for an Wolfie’s dog.

Home checkers talk to potential animal adopters to ensure that they have really thought about the implications of owning a Wolfie’s dog. The homechecker plays an essential role in finding the perfect match for dogs in our care.

If you are interested in becoming a home checker please contact us.

Fundraising

We are grateful for any help that you can give and here are some fundraising ideas to get you started!

  • Dress down day at work and ask your colleagues to donate a pound each

  • Car boot sale – a great opportunity to get rid of any unwanted clutter and help a good clause at the same time

  • Raffle – Ask friends/family/local businesses to donate prices and sell raffle tickets

  • Take part in the weekly bonus ball game

Fostering

Occasionally we look for a special foster home for some of our dogs. This would be maybe a dog with health problems or an oldie who just needs a sofa. If long term fostering interests you please get in touch.

We would need to do the necessary checks (similar to our adoption process), but this will be explained when you sign up to be a foster carer. Every animal will vary depending on breed, disability and age, some will need a garden, some won’t, some can’t live with children, some can, so please be understanding when it come to matching you with your foster animal, we are obviously looking for the best environment for our animals.
